Design, develop, and support scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disney’s Ad Platform using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
Own the delivery of engineering tasks from development through deployment, including participation in on-call rotations for operational excellence.
Mentor peers through code reviews, documentation, and guidance to ensure system robustness and adoption of best practices.
Minimum Requirements
6-9 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, ORMs).
Experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue or Angular.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) and RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced full-stack engineer comfortable with microservices and distributed systems in a mission-critical environment.
Familiar with advertising technology or programmatic advertising platforms is a plus.
Pragmatic problem-solver with ability to translate user stories into actionable tasks and improve system observability.
