About This Role
- Design, develop, and support scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disney’s Ad Platform using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
- Own the delivery of engineering tasks from development through deployment, including participation in on-call rotations for operational excellence.
- Mentor peers through code reviews, documentation, and guidance to ensure system robustness and adoption of best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-9 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, ORMs).
- Experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue or Angular.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) and RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer comfortable with microservices and distributed systems in a mission-critical environment.
- Familiar with advertising technology or programmatic advertising platforms is a plus.
- Pragmatic problem-solver with ability to translate user stories into actionable tasks and improve system observability.
