About This Role
- Own and prioritize the functional-safety software backlog aligned with program milestones, ensuring safety features and evidence are planned and delivered.
- Translate safety plans and requirements into prioritized backlog items with objective acceptance criteria including traceability and evidence.
- Coordinate dependencies across system, hardware, software, validation, tracking work-product maturity, safety anomalies, and release readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–13 years of work experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Technical product ownership or safety project experience in automotive embedded development.
- Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ASIL, software safety lifecycle, Agile, and Automotive SPICE.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in balancing safety integrity with customer commitments and architecture dependencies in automotive functional safety contexts.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing complex safety backlogs and coordinating cross-disciplinary dependencies (system, hardware, software, validation).
- Familiar with requirements planning, evidence-based acceptance, and risk/dependency tracking in safety-critical automotive projects.
