Own and prioritize the functional-safety software backlog aligned with program milestones, ensuring safety features and evidence are planned and delivered.
Translate safety plans and requirements into prioritized backlog items with objective acceptance criteria including traceability and evidence.
Coordinate dependencies across system, hardware, software, validation, tracking work-product maturity, safety anomalies, and release readiness.
Minimum Requirements
8–13 years of work experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
Technical product ownership or safety project experience in automotive embedded development.
Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ASIL, software safety lifecycle, Agile, and Automotive SPICE.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in balancing safety integrity with customer commitments and architecture dependencies in automotive functional safety contexts.
Capable of managing and prioritizing complex safety backlogs and coordinating cross-disciplinary dependencies (system, hardware, software, validation).
