About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and user interfaces for an advertising platform using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
- Translate user stories into actionable engineering tasks and own delivery from development through deployment, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Provide technical ownership and mentor peers through code reviews, documentation, and informal guidance, improving system observability and operational metrics.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-12 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot), plus experience with ReactJS or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Location: Bangalore with hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building mission-critical, scalable systems in fast-paced environments with a growth mindset towards mentoring and learning.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, operational metrics, and best coding/testing practices.
- Background or interest in ad tech, programmatic advertising, and cloud platforms like AWS, along with DevOps and streaming technologies.
