About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disney’s Ad Platform using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
- Own the full development lifecycle from user stories to deployment, ensuring system robustness, observability, and readiness.
- Provide peer mentoring, participate in on-call rotations, and promote best practices in code quality, testing, and agile workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-9 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, ORMs).
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Vue, Angular).
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer with strong foundation in CS principles and scalable system design.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams and mentoring peers.
- Familiarity or interest in ad tech, programmatic advertising, cloud platforms (AWS), DevOps tools, and data streaming technologies.
