About This Role
- Develop, support, and maintain mission-critical payment software solutions on IBM Mainframe with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Participate in architecture, design, code reviews, and Agile delivery processes ensuring engineering excellence and operational reliability.
- Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to improve development efficiency, quality, and problem-solving in high-volume transaction processing systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 on IBM Mainframe platforms with Unix/Linux and shell scripting experience.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in software engineering workflows.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work full-time in India; no visa sponsorship available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in combining legacy Mainframe development with modern software engineering and AI-assisted development.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and engaging with multiple cross-functional teams including product and support.
- Has knowledge or interest in card payment processing domain and supports operational excellence in high-volume, mission-critical financial systems.
