Lead and mentor a team of data engineers responsible for building scalable data pipelines and curated datasets for new financial data products.
Design, implement, and oversee data onboarding, extraction, transformation, and enrichment from diverse sources ensuring product readiness.
Implement data quality checks and collaborate with Product and AI teams to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years programming experience with Python, Spark, SQL, Java, and/or Unix shell scripting.
At least 2 years experience leading a high-performing data engineering team.
Proven knowledge of financial markets data analysis and experience with AWS (S3/EC2), Databricks, Linux, and Git.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in crafting or managing financial data products, preferably including Alternative Data sources.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment, collaborating closely with Product Management and AI teams.
Strong technical leadership with domain expertise in financial data pipelines, data onboarding, and exploratory data analysis.
