About This Role
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers responsible for building scalable data pipelines and curated datasets for new financial data products.
- Design, implement, and oversee data onboarding, extraction, transformation, and enrichment from diverse sources ensuring product readiness.
- Implement data quality checks and collaborate with Product and AI teams to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years programming experience with Python, Spark, SQL, Java, and/or Unix shell scripting.
- At least 2 years experience leading a high-performing data engineering team.
- Proven knowledge of financial markets data analysis and experience with AWS (S3/EC2), Databricks, Linux, and Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in crafting or managing financial data products, preferably including Alternative Data sources.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment, collaborating closely with Product Management and AI teams.
- Strong technical leadership with domain expertise in financial data pipelines, data onboarding, and exploratory data analysis.
