Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Micro Focus COBOL on Unix/Linux or Windows platforms.
Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents; perform testing and support production applications within SLAs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and support Agile/Scrum processes to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Minimum Requirements
4-8 years of hands-on experience with Micro Focus COBOL development on Unix/Linux or Windows.
Strong knowledge of COBOL programming, modular application design, shell/batch scripting, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2).
Proficient with version control tools (e.g., Git), build and deployment processes, and familiarity with SDLC and coding standards.
Education: B.Tech/B.E. in a relevant field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in full software development lifecycle for enterprise application maintenance and enhancement.
Able to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently to meet SLAs.
Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams including business analysts and QA.
