About This Role
- Design, build, and support scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disney’s Ad Platform using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
- Take technical ownership of features from development through deployment including defining metrics for system health and operational risk management.
- Mentor peers through code reviews and guidance, improve system observability with monitoring and alerting, and participate in on-call rotations for operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-12 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot; experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) and microservices architecture with RESTful APIs.
- Work Experience Required: 9-12 years. Location: Bangalore, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer with strong background in scalable microservices and front-end development in ad tech or related domains.
- Capable of mentoring engineers and owning end-to-end feature delivery in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multi-team collaboration.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), DevOps tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis).
