About This Role
- Lead architecture, design, and development of Procore’s permissions platform impacting millions of users and thousands of integrations.
- Build core platform features enabling customization and extensibility for users, third-party developers, and internal teams.
- Drive architectural decisions improving scalability and performance; mentor teammates through code reviews and training.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience.
- 8+ years combined experience in programming, SaaS/PaaS applications, frontend and backend engineering, test-driven development, and architecture design.
- Professional experience in GoLang, Ruby on Rails or Java and ReactJS.
- Experience with modern authorization systems (RBAC, ReBAC, ABAC, Cedar) and building APIs using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading technical design and architecture initiatives within large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Strong background in permission and authorization systems with expertise in scalable, event-driven microservices architectures.
- Able to anticipate complex technical problems and design effective solutions to ensure robust platform performance.
