Lead coordination of communications and stakeholder engagement during significant cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely, clear, and accurate updates.
Partner with technical incident responders and security leaders to assess business impact and translate technical issues into actionable updates for executives, customers, legal, and compliance.
Drive incident readiness by maintaining communication templates, organizing exercises, and handling post-incident reviews and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Must reside within commuting distance to Hyderabad office and be able to travel regionally.
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
At least 10 years related experience with Bachelor's; or 8 years with Master's; including minimum 5 years hands-on experience in cybersecurity incident response, crisis communications, or security operations.
Experience with North American and/or European jurisdictional communications and incident response; direct familiarity with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS incident response or equivalent regulatory communications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder, high-pressure incident communications involving executive leadership, legal, and external agencies.
Demonstrated experience supporting crisis communications in regulated industries with familiarity of ICS communication principles and NIST SP 800-61 Incident Response.
Experienced in running disaster recovery/incident response exercises and mentoring teams on communications and security exercises.
