Own safety-related software architecture ensuring technical safety requirements are correctly allocated, implemented, and verified.
Derive software safety requirements and architecture from technical safety concepts and system interfaces, including safety mechanisms and diagnostic coverage.
Lead software FTA/DFA and architecture reviews, manage assumptions and constraints, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
10–15 years of relevant work experience in embedded software and safety architecture.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
Strong expertise in embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR/RTOS, ECU architecture, and practical knowledge of ISO 26262 Part 6 including ASIL decomposition and software safety analysis.
Experience with architecture modeling, requirements engineering, verification, Automotive SPICE, and ability to lead technical reviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing software safety lifecycle stages from RFQ/concept through production and operations with a safety focus.
Skilled in coordinating across system, hardware, cybersecurity, platform, and validation teams to ensure compliance and traceability.
Possesses certification in functional safety and knowledge of model-based development, SEooC, and SOTIF interfacing.
