Own and prioritize the functional-safety software backlog ensuring alignment with program milestones and safety obligations.
Define safety-software scope, acceptance criteria, and manage dependencies across system, hardware, software, validation, and confirmation measures.
Track work-product maturity, safety anomalies, release readiness, and resolve scope/timing conflicts without compromising safety integrity.
Minimum Requirements
8-13 years of experience with technical product ownership or safety project experience in automotive embedded development.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ASIL, software safety lifecycle, Agile and Automotive SPICE.
Experience in requirements management, planning, dependency management, and evidence-based acceptance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing safety-critical software projects and backlogs in automotive embedded systems.
Familiar with functional safety standards and able to balance safety integrity, customer commitments, architectural dependencies and delivery capacity.
Proficient in coordinating cross-disciplinary dependencies and tracking release readiness metrics to ensure compliance and quality.
