Lead the functional-safety software team ensuring competency development, delivery discipline, and quality of safety evidence.
Own team staffing, coaching, certification, succession, and deployment of safety expertise aligned with program risk and lifecycle demands.
Manage supplier coordination, safety delivery tracking, review/escalation mechanisms, and drive lessons learned and capability investments.
Minimum Requirements
12–16 years of experience in leadership within automotive embedded software or functional-safety engineering teams.
Degree: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines.
Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and software lifecycle delivery processes.
Experience in resource planning, supplier governance, risk leadership, and customer communication.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader in functional safety with capability to drive measurable skill and quality improvements across teams.
Comfortable managing global teams and supplier relationships while retaining internal ownership of safety-critical decisions.
Preferably holds functional safety assessor qualification with expertise across multiple ASIL domains.
