Ensure continuous health and availability of wired and wireless network infrastructure supporting Walmart US stores, clubs, and distribution centers.
Identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot network incidents using monitoring tools to maintain SLA compliance and minimize impact on associates and customers.
Coordinate with US and vendor teams for resolution and maintain network devices in compliance to support efficient operations.
Minimum Requirements
3-4 years of network engineering experience, preferably in NOC or project implementation roles.
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and access points, specifically Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki platforms.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, information systems, electrical engineering or related field, OR 3 years’ experience in large-scale networking environments.
Work location: Bangalore/Chennai, India; CISCO Certification preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in large-scale network operations with strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, wireless, and voice technologies.
Capable of handling critical network incidents independently within SLA, coordinating across global teams.
Familiarity with network automation (Python) and modern wireless technologies (MIST, HREAP) considered advantageous.
