About This Role
- Own and define the enterprise-scale platform architecture roadmap, including scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS systems with measurable modernization outcomes.
- Lead platform engineering efforts including cloud-native service design, monolith decomposition, and high-throughput API and event-driven design.
- Drive platform reliability and performance monitoring via SLOs, root-cause analysis, and hands-on production debugging in distributed SaaS environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 14+ years in software or platform engineering within distributed SaaS environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
- Expert-level backend engineering skills in Java, Python, Go or equivalent, with current hands-on coding.
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms with demonstrated large-scale migration or modernization ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading architecture strategy and modernization initiatives across engineering teams in SaaS or product organizations.
- Technically deep, currently hands-on with strong backend engineering, debugging, and distributed systems expertise.
- Comfortable influencing engineering strategy and engaging both technical panels and executive stakeholders on complex trade-offs and architecture decisions.
