About This Role
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on Web, Android/iOS apps, and APIs to detect security flaws.
- Integrate and automate security tools like SAST/DAST into CI/CD pipelines to enhance application security.
- Review source code for vulnerabilities, triage bug bounty submissions, and engage in threat modeling with product and engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be an intern level candidate, likely currently studying cybersecurity or related field (explicit student targeting).
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Postman, or similar.
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and ability to read code in Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript to write automation scripts.
- Location requirement: Internship is onsite at Fam HQ, Bangalore.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a hacker mindset with experience exploiting and patching OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and participation in CTFs or bug bounty programs.
- Capable of communicating complex vulnerabilities clearly to developers and collaborating across teams during design and development.
- Has some coding skills to automate security tasks and a proactive approach to staying updated on latest security threats and trends.
