Own and lead the group’s financial close process across multiple entities, ensuring month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines are met with audit-ready standards.
Lead audit management including external auditor coordination, statutory, regulatory and board reporting, and control framework governance across international entities.
Manage, coach, and develop a Financial Control team primarily based in India, driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial governance.
Lead balance sheet reconciliations, resolve complex accounting issues, and oversee tax and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions including India, UK, Netherlands, and US entity setup.
Minimum Requirements
ACA qualification or equivalent with significant post-qualified experience (10+ years) leading financial control in a complex, multi-entity group.
Strong technical accounting, month-end close, audit management experience, and proven ability to build audit-ready controls and reconciliation standards.
Experience in payments, fintech, issuing/acquiring or SaaS in fast-growth environments is strongly preferred.
Location requirement: Role based in Mumbai; team largely based in India. AI mindset with active use of AI tools is essential.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced senior finance professional with a background in complex, multi-entity financial control environments, ideally within fintech or payments sectors.
Proven ability to lead and develop offshore or distributed teams, acting as a key technical escalation point for auditors and senior stakeholders.
Comfortable managing international statutory, tax (including VAT and transfer pricing), and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions, supporting cross-border entities and global audit coordination.
