Own and modernize the enterprise monitoring and observability program, shifting from traditional alerting to predictive detection, automation, and intelligent event correlation across multiple tools (e.g., Datadog, BigPanda).
Manage IT system availability and performance, execute support services for monitoring tools, and ensure SLA adherence and customer satisfaction.
Lead personnel and vendor management for monitoring tool configuration, coding, testing, and QA; plan and manage projects to deliver within scope, timeline, and budget.
Minimum Requirements
6–10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or SRE with hands-on experience in monitoring tools such as Datadog, BigPanda, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Grafana, or equivalents.
Strong scripting/automation skills with Python, PowerShell, or similar and experience integrating monitoring platforms via APIs.
Experience in supporting large-scale, global, hybrid (cloud + on-premise) enterprise environments.
People management experience or readiness for first-line management role with technical credibility.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in maturing observability programs end-to-end including architecture and predictive/anomaly-based alerting with noise reduction.
Capable of negotiating with cross-functional stakeholders and working with multiple vendors for integrated monitoring solutions.
Comfortable managing teams and projects aligned with organizational IT enablement strategy and performance metrics.
