Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Design and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks with Selenium and REST Assured, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for stable test execution.
Define and drive overall test strategy including automation coverage, risk mitigation, defect triage, and quality gates aligned with Agile methodologies.
Lead quality engineering efforts in complex travel domain workflows, support SIT/UAT/production validations, and act as the primary QA liaison with stakeholders including Product, BA, and DevOps teams.
Minimum Requirements
8-12 years total QA experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on automation using Selenium WebDriver and REST API automation.
2+ years of experience leading or mentoring QA teams in enterprise or product-based environments.
Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends; must work from Bangalore office minimum 3 days per week.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Azure DevOps), SQL for backend validations, JIRA & Confluence, and preferably Travel Management Company (TMC) domain knowledge.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leading quality engineering for complex workflows in travel domain, especially booking lifecycle and GDS integrations (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport).
Strong ownership of automation framework health, reducing manual regression and flaky tests through stable CI/CD integration.
Capable of coordinating multiple parallel releases with a focus on measurable quality metrics such as automation coverage, defect leakage, and release readiness.
