Senior Data Scientist - Hyderabad

Build and scale machine learning training and inference pipelines to unlock ML opportunities within WBD’s Data and Analytics organization.

Lead development and implementation of advanced ML models including large language models, computer vision models, ad and content targeting solutions.

Define and establish best practices and technical standards for machine learning projects across cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, industrial engineering, or related quantitative discipline required; Master’s/PhD is a plus.

5-8 years of experience building data science/statistical models including Multivariate regression, Time Series, XGBoost, Causal inference.

Strong expertise in modern ML approaches including GBDT, CNN, LSTM, transformers, variational auto-encoders, plus experience with Deep Learning, NLP, LLMs, Reinforcement Learning, and causal inference.

Proficiency in Python or R and knowledge of ML tools/frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Spark; experience operating end-to-end ML systems at scale.

Experienced in leading ML model development and setting technical best practices in high-impact projects involving cross-functional collaboration.

Deep technical mastery across a wide range of machine learning methods and real-world deployment of scalable ML workflows.

Operates comfortably in fast-paced environments requiring multiple project deliveries and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
