Senior Staff Engineer - Systems

Own the architecture roadmap and strategy for a major enterprise-scale SaaS platform domain, focusing on scalable, secure, and cost-efficient multi-tenant architectures.

Lead platform modernization initiatives including monolith decomposition, migrations, and establishing architecture standards and best practices.

Drive platform reliability and performance, handle complex production issues, define SLOs, and ensure engineering quality by writing production code and enforcing rigorous standards.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

14+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or systems architecture in modern distributed SaaS environments.

Expert backend engineering skills in Java, Python, Go, or equivalent with current hands-on coding.

Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms with measurable performance and reliability metrics.

Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, including multi-tenancy, microservices, event-driven design, and large-scale production operations.

Experienced leader capable of guiding cross-functional teams, mentoring senior engineers, and influencing long-term technology strategy.

Strong problem solver with advanced debugging skills and experience leading large-scale modernization and migration projects.
