Develop advanced analytical solutions and actionable insights to support Airbnb's Fraud & Safety product and business teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and operations to leverage data and machine learning for risk management and regulatory compliance.
Conduct data modeling, root cause analysis, and build metrics frameworks to optimize fraud and safety operational efficiency and policy effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of industry experience in analytics or related quantitative fields.
Advanced degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
Advanced proficiency in SQL/NoSQL and programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS; intermediate knowledge of data platforms like Presto, Hive, Teradata, or Spark.
Experience with statistical and machine learning techniques including regression models, SVM, random forest, NLP basics, A/B testing, and BI tools like Tableau.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in delivering end-to-end data projects with measurable business impact in fraud and safety or related operational domains.
Able to work strategically and collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams, balancing technical rigor with business context.
