About This Role
- Lead firmware development and execution for new keyboard, mouse, and combo products through all NPI stages including EVT, DVT, PVT, production ramp, and launch.
- Manage and develop a team of firmware engineers ensuring robust wireless performance, low power consumption, reliability, and manufacturability of devices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, QA, program management, suppliers, and SOC vendors to drive firmware architecture, debugging, and release readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of embedded firmware experience with 3+ years in engineering management or technical team leadership.
- Experience delivering consumer electronics products through New Product Introduction into mass production.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++, MCU systems, wireless technologies (including BLE, USB, RF HID), debugging tools, version control (Git), and familiarity with Agile development and unit testing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced consumer electronics hardware and firmware environments.
- Deep technical expertise in embedded systems firmware for wireless peripherals such as keyboards and mice, including Bluetooth and bidirectional RF HID firmware development.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, track, and execute multiple complex projects while communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
