Manager, Firmware Engineering

Lead firmware development and execution for new keyboard, mouse, and combo products through all NPI stages including EVT, DVT, PVT, production ramp, and launch.

Manage and develop a team of firmware engineers ensuring robust wireless performance, low power consumption, reliability, and manufacturability of devices.

Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, QA, program management, suppliers, and SOC vendors to drive firmware architecture, debugging, and release readiness.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

8+ years of embedded firmware experience with 3+ years in engineering management or technical team leadership.

Experience delivering consumer electronics products through New Product Introduction into mass production.

Proficiency in embedded C/C++, MCU systems, wireless technologies (including BLE, USB, RF HID), debugging tools, version control (Git), and familiarity with Agile development and unit testing.

Experienced leader capable of managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced consumer electronics hardware and firmware environments.

Deep technical expertise in embedded systems firmware for wireless peripherals such as keyboards and mice, including Bluetooth and bidirectional RF HID firmware development.

Demonstrated ability to plan, track, and execute multiple complex projects while communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
