Own power and performance measurement and analysis for SoC and system platforms focused on Windows on ARM devices.
Design and develop automated power measurement infrastructure including data acquisition and telemetry processing.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, OS, and driver teams to enable, tune, and optimize power features and deliver detailed health trend reports and recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Strong expertise in power management concepts including Low Power Modes, DVFS, C-states, Modern Standby, and thermal throttling.
Hands-on experience with power analysis tools on Windows/Linux (e.g., WPA, Xperf), and proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Solid understanding of SoC architecture including CPU, memory, I/O subsystems, and firmware (BIOS/UEFI/EC).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience debugging and optimizing multimedia or display hardware for power savings.
Skilled in building scalable lab infrastructure, databases, or ETL pipelines to handle high-volume telemetry data.
Familiarity with SoC validation tools, high-resolution power analyzers, thermal chambers, and integrating AI/ML models for power anomaly detection or predictive analytics.
