Perform Independent Price Verification (IPV), Fair Value Adjustments (FVA reserves), Fair Value Hierarchy levelling, Day1 PNL assessment, and Prudential Valuations for a variety of financial products including Bonds, Loans, Swaps, Derivatives, FX, and Interest Rate products.
Own and improve valuation processes and models, ensure controls on data completeness and accuracy, and coordinate process improvements with relevant teams like CTB.
Report pricing variance drivers, liaise with Regional Valuation Teams and stakeholders, and participate in strategic, tactical, and ad-hoc projects related to valuation control.
Minimum Requirements
Experience Required: Several years in Valuation or Market Risk departments at large investment banks, specifically involving Credit, Rates, or Currency markets.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and VBA; familiarity with Python is a plus; working knowledge of market data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, ISMA.
Domain Knowledge: Exposure to IPV, reserving, pricing, and modelling aspects of valuation control for trading businesses.
Location: Mumbai, India.
