Develop and enhance ground-station software features including mission planning, command dispatch, and telemetry visualization.
Own and maintain the real-time telemetry and command communication pipeline between the ground station and vehicle.
Influence technical direction and software architecture decisions, including potential technology stack migrations, coordinating with the flight-software team to ensure consistent data interfaces.
Minimum Requirements
B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience.
Strong proficiency in Rust, TypeScript/React, Python, and Qt frameworks (PySide6/PyQt).
Experience building real-time or near-real-time desktop applications with knowledge of WebSocket and/or gRPC communications; familiar with native desktop application frameworks (e.g. Tauri, Electron, Qt).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in developing mission-critical or telemetry/control desktop applications, preferably with real-time data handling.
Able to lead and execute cross-language rewrites or migrations of production desktop applications.
Comfortable working across frontend and backend technology stacks, including map/GIS rendering libraries and maintaining secure ground communication links.
