Lead end-to-end technical programs focused on UK GDPR and data privacy compliance including data mapping, RoPA, DPIA, and consent management.
Manage program roadmaps, timelines, risks, dependencies, governance, and provide KPI updates to senior leadership.
Partner with engineering and security teams to implement privacy controls and support privacy incident response, audits, and third-party privacy risk management.
Minimum Requirements
6-8 years total work experience with at least 3 years delivering privacy or compliance programs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 compliance requirements and related privacy concepts like DSAR, data retention, and minimization.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and SDLC/DevSecOps environments and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leading enterprise-scale technical or IT programs specifically involving privacy, compliance, or data protection initiatives.
Comfortable managing technical risks, dependencies, governance, and engaging cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts including IAM, encryption, DLP, and knowledge of privacy frameworks like ISO 27001/27701 or NIST Privacy Framework is a plus.
