Deliver biodiversity baselines and ecological impact assessment chapters aligned with UK/Irish regulatory frameworks.
Manage discrete biodiversity workstreams end-to-end, coordinating inputs across Consulting Delivery Hub (CDH) and regional teams to meet budget, timeline, quality, and Health & Safety standards.
Serve as the main point of contact for regional Task Leads on biodiversity workstreams and support bids, proposals, and methodology improvements.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in ecology, zoology, environmental science, conservation, biological sciences, or closely related discipline; MSc/Master's desirable.
3-5 years relevant work experience with 2-3 years in consulting, research, or NGO roles focused on biodiversity baselines for infrastructure, energy, or development projects.
Working knowledge of UK, Irish, and international biodiversity regulatory frameworks and GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro/QGIS).
Strong report-writing skills and familiarity with managing projects across multiple time zones.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in delivering biodiversity chapters for major infrastructure regulatory regimes such as NSIPs (DCO), TWAO, s.36 Electricity Act or equivalent.
Proven ability to manage end-to-end biodiversity workstreams in a global delivery/shared service environment working with regional consultants.
Familiarity with digital tools including GIS and automation/AI-enabled tools to support biodiversity baseline, assessment, and reporting workflows.
