Lead governance, supervision, and auditing of Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure compliance with Customs regulations and SLAs.
Manage duty optimization via concessional trade schemes and oversee local valuation proceedings including Special Valuation Branch (SVB) to ensure compliance with intercompany transfer pricing.
Act as primary liaison for Indian Customs, DGFT, and regulatory bodies while aligning cross-functionally with European trade teams and local operations for seamless supply chain and compliance management.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Business Law, International Trade, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent.
12+ years of experience in customs compliance, auditing, and broker governance in Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive manufacturing sectors.
In-depth knowledge of Indian Customs legislation (CBIC), Foreign Trade Policy (DGFT), and duty-concessional manufacturing programs.
Demonstrated Project Management (PMO) skills; Experience with Special Valuation Branch (SVB) processes and intercompany trade; English negotiation-level proficiency.
