Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Monitor and detect cybersecurity threats round the clock using SOC tools and procedures.
Analyze, triage, and validate security alerts and incidents, prioritizing and escalating per SOPs.
Develop and maintain incident management policies, aiming to reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
Minimum Requirements
2-5 years of experience in SOC, Incident Management, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, or related fields.
Mandatory certifications include any of - Certified SOC Analyst, CHFI, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent.
Educational qualification: B.Tech, MCA, MBA (IT background), or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
Preferred experience with SOC security tools such as SIEM, Splunk, Vulnerability Management, SOAR, UBA. No mention of mandatory location or notice period.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced cybersecurity professional skilled in incident detection, response, and SOC platform management.
Holds recognized cybersecurity certifications and has hands-on experience with SOC security tools, especially Splunk.
Comfortable working in a 24x7 threat monitoring environment aiming to meet SLAs and KPIs with strong incident triage and forensic practices.
