About This Role
- Design, develop, configure, test, and commission automation solutions for Cytiva bioprocess systems integrating UNICORN software with Rockwell Automation PLC hardware.
- Prepare detailed design engineering documentation including instrument configuration, project schedules, loop diagrams, wiring drawings, and maintain compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISA/IEC standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, end users, and project managers; conduct software testing, debugging, training delivery, and support product lifecycle management including obsolescence.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 6+ years post-qualification experience in Automation or similar role, with project engineering/management experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment commissioning support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLC platforms, UNICORN system, and knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, S88, ISA, IEC standards, and wiring rules.
- On-site role based in Pune with willingness to travel up to 25% for project follow-up, inspection, and troubleshooting.

- Experienced in automation engineering for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, especially filtration, separation, purification systems, and chromatography.
- Skilled in integrating automation software (UNICORN) with hardware PLC systems, able to produce and manage technical proposals, costing, and documentation comprehensively.
- Comfortable working in cross-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects from design through commissioning and client training in a regulated environment.
