Design, develop, configure, test, and commission automation solutions for Cytiva bioprocess systems integrating UNICORN software with Rockwell Automation PLC hardware.
Prepare detailed design engineering documentation including instrument configuration, project schedules, loop diagrams, wiring drawings, and maintain compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISA/IEC standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, end users, and project managers; conduct software testing, debugging, training delivery, and support product lifecycle management including obsolescence.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 6+ years post-qualification experience in Automation or similar role, with project engineering/management experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment commissioning support.
Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLC platforms, UNICORN system, and knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, S88, ISA, IEC standards, and wiring rules.
On-site role based in Pune with willingness to travel up to 25% for project follow-up, inspection, and troubleshooting.

Experienced in automation engineering for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, especially filtration, separation, purification systems, and chromatography.
Skilled in integrating automation software (UNICORN) with hardware PLC systems, able to produce and manage technical proposals, costing, and documentation comprehensively.
Comfortable working in cross-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects from design through commissioning and client training in a regulated environment.
