Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Lead design, development, implementation, validation, commissioning, and lifecycle management of automation, instrumentation, and electrical solutions for Cytiva projects.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical proposals, project estimation, solution architecture, detailed engineering, and execution of systems including chromatography, filtration, TFF, Single-Use Mixing platforms.
Manage FAT, SAT, startup, troubleshooting, training, and customer acceptance while ensuring projects meet safety, timeline, budget, and quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, E&TC, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 10+ years post-qualification experience in Automation or similar roles.
Experience in project engineering/management and commissioning support in biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, especially filtration, separation, and purification systems.
Willingness to travel up to 40% for project execution, inspections, FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Expertise with PLC/DCS/SCADA platforms such as Siemens, Emerson, and software tools like TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS7, DeltaV.
Experience working within biopharmaceutical market and familiarity with GAMP 5, ERES, 21 CFR Part 11, S88, ISA, IEC, GMP, and related regulatory standards.
Capable of leading complex automation projects including technical risk mitigation, lifecycle management, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating across global cross-functional teams.
