Build and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Spark notebooks, and Azure Functions for SaaS, multi-tenant applications.
Perform data ingestion, transformation, incremental loading from multiple sources, and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
Work with AI-assisted development tools daily to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation while validating AI-generated output.
Minimum Requirements
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Pipelines, SQL pools) and databases like PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, or Cosmos DB.
Strong SQL skills, basic data modeling, and knowledge of incremental loads, CDC, and performance tuning.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude in daily engineering workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Comfortable working with modern Azure data technologies in a SaaS and multi-tenant environment.
Experienced in AI-augmented engineering workflows with ability to critically review AI-generated code and outputs.
Familiarity or interest in event-driven processing, CI/CD, Git collaborative development, and emerging AI agent frameworks and Azure AI services.
