About This Role

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services primarily using Python, Django, and related frameworks, including API and background worker implementations.

Manage and automate cloud infrastructure and deployments on AWS, including Lambda, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, SaltStack, and Serverless Framework.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation, ensuring human review and security compliance.

Minimum Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience.

Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.

Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda and event-driven architecture.

Experience with Linux environments, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker), and infrastructure automation tools like SaltStack.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced with production support and managing high-availability business-critical systems.

Comfortable integrating various technologies including databases (MySQL/RDS), messaging, authentication, and application security.

Familiar with AI coding assistants and modern AI-enabled development workflows, demonstrating ability to integrate AI tools into standard engineering practices.
