Deliver end-to-end platform features including discovery, design, implementation, testing, and deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
Build and maintain scalable, reliable batch and streaming data services and pipelines using technologies like Spark, Flink, Airflow, Kafka, and various databases.
Own quality and reliability through testing, telemetry, on-call support, root cause analysis, and contribute to architecture, standards, and cross-team collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 2 years software engineering experience, OR 4 years software engineering experience without degree.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Scala, or Python and experience with distributed data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink).
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., BigQuery, Postgres, Cassandra, Cosmos) and streaming technologies like Kafka.
Work in Bangalore or Chennai office with ability for daily onsite work; Cloud platform experience (GCP, Azure, AWS) and CI/CD knowledge also expected.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in developing and maintaining large-scale data-intensive systems with strong software engineering and data engineering foundations.
Familiar with event streaming, distributed data processing, and cloud-native development incorporating testing, monitoring, and secure design.
Able to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively across product, business, and engineering teams to deliver quality solutions under operational requirements.
