Lead and coordinate end-to-end software and product testing activities including hardware, mechanical, software, device, compatibility, cloud/backend, and mobile apps for automotive telematics products.
Own test automation efforts primarily using Python and Robot Framework covering sanity, system, end-to-end feature, OTA, compatibility, and device functionality tests.
Conduct vehicle compatibility testing, KPI/performance/security testing before releases, troubleshoot using logs, and support live debugging for development and change requests.
Minimum Requirements
At least 9+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in Automotive domain.
Experience in software testing including white box/grey box testing and automation using Python and Robot Framework.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant IT specialization.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for vehicle testing and work onsite based on test setup dependencies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced test engineer with strong technical skills in automation scripting, software testing concepts, and telematics/infotainment systems including CAN and telephony.
Familiarity with automotive testing standards such as A-SPICE and ISTQB certification is a plus.
Capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging with multiple stakeholders to clarify product requirements and expectations.
