About This Role
- Lead and scale a regional field sales organization achieving merchant acquisition, activation, and transaction growth related to Paytm QR payment solutions.
- Own regional P&L with accountability for revenue, transaction volumes, merchant productivity, and profitability.
- Drive strategic sales execution including demand generation, merchant onboarding, team performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with 75% field and 25% office work model.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate with 10+ years experience OR Postgraduate with 7+ years of team handling experience.
- Experience in QR payments, fintech, banking, telecom, insurance distribution, or merchant acquiring sectors.
- Proven success in field sales leadership, merchant acquisition, B2B/KAM management, and driving transaction growth.
- Work Experience Required: At least 7-10 years with significant team leadership and market scaling experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in digital payment ecosystems, especially in QR and UPI-based merchant acquiring.
- Strong background in building and scaling field sales teams and launching new markets from scratch.
- Operates with high ownership, accountability, and ability to execute multi-layered team governance and performance reviews in fast-paced environments.
