Own and operate localization tooling and automation workflows for Phone, PC, and Tablet products to ensure global readiness of apps and device UI.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins jobs and GitHub Actions workflows supporting localization processes end to end.
Validate localized builds across languages/locales, support cross-team integration, and maintain documentation and standards for localization engineering.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred.
3–6+ years in localization engineering, software development, or related technical role (mid-level from 3 years, senior from 5+).
Strong Python scripting and Shell/Bash/PowerShell skills; strong Git command-line proficiency including branching, merging, rebasing, and conflict resolution.
Experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions; familiarity with localization workflows and file formats (XML, JSON, CSV, YAML).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Mid to senior engineer comfortable working independently on localization pipeline automation and day-to-day tooling in a multinational telecommunications environment.
Experienced with cross-platform localization issues spanning Windows, Android, iOS, and Ubuntu, including debugging encoding, layout, and build problems.
Familiar with modern AI-assisted engineering practices and capable of mentoring or guiding localization standards at senior level.
