Design and blueprint AI features including architecture, model strategies, evaluation methods, and delivery risk assessments for production-ready AI capabilities.
Define and standardize reusable AI solution patterns covering prompt engineering, harness architecture, model selection, RAG, evaluation frameworks, and error handling.
Mentor P2/P3 AI engineers, conduct design reviews, and enable clear communication of AI architectural decisions across internal teams and external partners.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Engineering, or related technical field.
8+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, software engineering, or solution architecture.
Strong technical skills in Python and/or Java, with experience designing LLM harnesses including tool/function calling, context management, retries, and fallback strategies.
Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG patterns, evaluation techniques, NLP/NLU judgment, and production-grade AI system design.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in translating ambiguous product or delivery goals into practical AI system designs with clear evaluation-backed model and architectural decisions.
Skilled in mentoring and enabling junior to mid-level AI engineers to implement and explain AI design patterns confidently.
Familiar with agentic AI systems, cloud-based AI service delivery (AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch), and working in regulated or document-heavy domains such as insurance or finance.
