Lead customer-specific testing and validation of networking products and solutions, focusing on both manual and automated multi-dimensional scaled solutions.
Develop and maintain deep expertise in deployed networking products within specific customer environments, ensuring solution validation and accountability.
Design enhancements, develop and execute test plans, debug issues, and collaborate with internal and outsourced teams for high-quality solution delivery.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent.
Approximately 15 years of strong experience in networking with hands-on experience in Routing and Switching, including eVPN-VxLAN, DCI, Aggregation, and core/aggregation network deployment designs.
Proven expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols and network product testing with automation skills including Python/Pytest/Go or other scripting languages.
Onsite work required at HPE office; strong ownership mindset for solution and feature validation and customer use cases across wired and wireless enterprise campus networks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level engineer with extensive experience in enterprise campus and data center networking technologies, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, and associated test equipment like Spirent and Ixia.
Demonstrates deep technical proficiency in networking fundamentals combined with hands-on automation testing skills and complex use case validation.
Experienced in collaborating across global teams and managing responsibilities involving customer-specific network product validations in large-scale environments.
