Own and execute customer-specific test plans for networking product releases involving solution validation across enterprise campus wired and wireless architectures.
Design, develop, and update software components related to network validation, including programming changes and integration activities for subsystems.
Collaborate with internal and outsourced teams to ensure timely issue resolution and deliver high quality, cost-effective solutions for assigned network systems.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent.
Typically 15 years of strong experience in networking with hands-on Routing and Switching expertise, specifically in eVPN-VxLAN, DCI, aggregation, collapsed core/aggregation network deployment.
Strong hands-on experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN and network test automation using Python/Pytest/Go or similar scripting languages.
Role is onsite with expectation to work primarily from an HPE office in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep domain expertise in Enterprise Campus and Data Centre networking technologies with extensive knowledge of legacy and modern architectures (eVPN-VXLAN).
Demonstrated ownership and accountability for end-to-end solution validation and customer use case delivery in complex scaled network environments.
Experienced with automation frameworks for network test execution and debugging, as well as effective communication with senior engineers and leadership for design and validation outcomes.
