Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for SCADA-based industrial control systems, including alarm management, historian modules, and various communication protocols.
Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous regression testing and defect tracking using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Develop test strategies, plans, and reports including coverage metrics; collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure system functionality, performance, and safety.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech.
Experience: 3–7 years in software testing, preferably with SCADA system testing.
Technical skills required include automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, TestNG), familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870, IEC 61850, SNMP, OPC-UA/DA).
Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in test automation scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in testing industrial control systems, especially SCADA applications with exposure to communication protocols and industrial IoT testing.
Proficient in designing and automating end-to-end test suites integrated into CI/CD environments, with a thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
Able to analyze complex system architecture and data flows involving PLC/RTU integrations and capable of contributing to test strategy and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
