About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for SCADA-based industrial control systems, including alarm management, historian modules, and various communication protocols.
- Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous regression testing and defect tracking using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Develop test strategies, plans, and reports including coverage metrics; collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure system functionality, performance, and safety.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech.
- Experience: 3–7 years in software testing, preferably with SCADA system testing.
- Technical skills required include automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, TestNG), familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870, IEC 61850, SNMP, OPC-UA/DA).
- Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in test automation scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing industrial control systems, especially SCADA applications with exposure to communication protocols and industrial IoT testing.
- Proficient in designing and automating end-to-end test suites integrated into CI/CD environments, with a thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
- Able to analyze complex system architecture and data flows involving PLC/RTU integrations and capable of contributing to test strategy and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
