Lead firmware architecture and embedded software design for UPS and power electronics products, focusing on real-time control firmware for converters, inverters, battery chargers, and associated control algorithms.
Own the complete NPDI lifecycle including requirement definition, system architecture, design reviews, integration, validation, and field support with cross-functional collaboration.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, enforcing coding standards, reviewing architecture, driving process improvements, and supporting debugging, validation, and system optimization activities.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering.
At least 15 years of professional experience in embedded control system firmware design, development, and analysis.
Mandatory skills include Embedded C/C++, real-time embedded systems, power electronics controls, PWM and ADC handling, RTOS concepts, communication protocols, firmware debugging, and hardware-software integration.
Strong experience with TI C2000 series microcontrollers (e.g., TMS320F28x), and experience designing power electronics control algorithms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in advanced UPS control firmware development including battery management and power converter control with strong domain expertise in power electronics controls.
Demonstrates strategic technical leadership through mentoring, architecture design, and cross-disciplinary collaboration in complex product environments.
Familiar with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, with strong skills in debugging, testing and firmware validation processes.
