Own the design, code quality, and delivery of core systems within a large-scale API Gateway serving all origin traffic of JioHotstar.
Independently solve complex technical challenges, focusing on performance, scalability, and optimization across platforms (Mobile, Web, Living Room devices).
Lead architectural discussions, decompose projects, and mentor the engineering team to enhance development velocity and system robustness.
Minimum Requirements
9-12 years of software development experience with delivery of complex projects.
Strong programming expertise in Java or Golang and experience building high-scale distributed microservices.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field from a reputed university.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, or DynamoDB; familiarity with AWS services like SQS, DynamoDB, EKS, Aurora is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical depth with ability to independently address complex problems and performance bottlenecks in large scale systems.
Experience operating within large-scale, high-traffic backend environments, particularly in developer platform or API gateway domains.
