Lead design and modernization of enterprise database platforms including relational and NoSQL databases, driving cloud and DBaaS migration initiatives.
Architect and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies to support 24/7 mission-critical banking operations with strict RTO and RPO targets.
Provide technical leadership to senior engineers and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance, performance tuning, security, and effective database DevOps practices.
Minimum Requirements
12+ years experience in database engineering/administration with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role in a large-scale financial services environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Expertise in Oracle (19c/21c, RAC, Data Guard), PostgreSQL (v12+, Patroni), and proficiency in NoSQL platforms like MongoDB and Redis.
Experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform scripting/automation; and familiarity with Linux OS tuning, storage architectures, and networking protocols.
