Administer and maintain IBM Mainframe storage infrastructure, including DASD, tape libraries, Virtual Tape Systems (VTS), and Rocket ZARA Tape Management environment.
Perform storage capacity planning, utilization analysis, performance tuning, and ensure backup, recovery, archive, and disaster recovery for enterprise workloads.
Manage storage-related incidents, prioritize and resolve issues in 24x7 production environments, collaborating with technicians and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe Infrastructure and Storage Administration in enterprise production environments.
Strong expertise in IBM z/OS administration and components such as DFSMS, SMS, DFHSM, DASD, ICF Catalog management.
Proven experience managing backup, restore, migration, archive, and recovery operations, including experience with Virtual Tape Systems and Rocket ZARA administration.
Work Experience Required: 6 to 8 years in relevant mainframe storage administration roles.
