About This Role
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models with focus on performance and scalability.
- Perform advanced SQL data preparation and tuning across platforms like Snowflake and Azure SQL, applying AI/ML techniques for forecasting, anomaly detection, and segmentation.
- Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions and provide technical leadership within a global delivery model.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering AI/ML, BI, and analytics solutions in enterprise or consulting environments.
- Strong domain experience in banking or financial services (risk, finance, operations, client reporting).
- Expert-level SQL skills including advanced joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and performance tuning; hands-on experience with Python for analytics/ML/AI use cases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), semantic modeling, Direct Query sources (Snowflake, Azure SQL, Synapse), and Power BI Service management (datasets, dataflows, gateways, RLS).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior individual contributor capable of independently owning analytics requirements end-to-end with a technical leadership mindset.
- Experience operating in complex, multidomain analytics projects within banking or financial services, with prior asset management knowledge.
- Strong expertise in BI engineering best practices, semantic modeling optimization, and stakeholder engagement across technical and nontechnical audiences.
