Lead the definition and execution of QA strategies for Optical DWDM platforms and related protocols.
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test strategies, both manual and automated, ensuring system validation, scalability, and reliability.
Provide detailed reporting on test execution, defect analysis and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective test coverage and delivery of high-performance products.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in CSE, EEE, or ECE.
12+ years of experience in testing and automation within optical networking domains.
Proven experience certifying SONET/SDH/OTN/DWDM systems with strong protocol knowledge including OTN, FlexO, FlexE, Ethernet, and related interfaces like Netconf, Restconf, gRPC.
Hands-on experience with test traffic generators (e.g., Viavi, Spirent, Ixia), optical spectrum analyzers, and programming/scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced test technical leader with expertise in system testing and test architecture across multiple product releases in optical networking.
Strong background in software design for network equipment, including L0/L1/Platform software and familiarity with Microservices and container-based applications.
Ability to work cross-functionally with system engineering, test, design, and architecture teams to influence quality assurance at strategic and operational levels.
