Design, develop, and support embedded software for DLP Controllers targeting industrial, automotive, and display applications, including safety and security aspects.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Controller, FPGA, Algorithms, tools, applications teams, and customers to define requirements, influence system decisions, and deliver software solutions.
Own the software development lifecycle activities including design documentation, testing (unit, system), debugging, release management, and customer support.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2+ years industry experience developing software on embedded devices.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), or Computer Science Engineering (CSE).
Proficient in C/C++ for embedded platforms with debugging skills and hardware knowledge (schematics, lab equipment like scopes and logic analyzers).
Familiarity with software development methodologies and quality assurance practices; experience with embedded software life-cycle and multi-tasking in cross-functional teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS) and software development tools such as Git and static code analyzers.
Skilled in automation through scripting (Python) and comfortable with unit, system, and regression testing including test script development.
Comfortable working on complex systems bridging software and hardware, including influencing hardware architecture based on software needs and supporting safety standards like ISO26262 and Automotive SPICE.
