About This Role
- Lead architecture and development of enterprise Java applications within a regulated forensic environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support modernisation of legacy forensic systems across distributed teams in UK, Europe, nearshore, and offshore.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, high-performance, and compliant with operational processes; collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams for full lifecycle delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of extensive enterprise Java development and DevOps experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven experience in software architecture and hands-on development.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years in enterprise Java development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in regulated or complex operational environments such as Forensics or LIMS.
- Demonstrates strong collaboration and coordination skills across multiple distributed delivery teams.
- Operates with expertise in modular architecture, backend optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised environments.
